What's there not to like about this band? Instantly memorable melodies? Check. A varied exhibition of musical styles encompassing raggae, pop and calypso? Check. An excellent live show together with choreographed-dancing backing singers dressed as sailors? Check. I have seen KMF 3 times live now, and listened to this album on a countless number of occasions and it's never failed to improve my mood. This Norwegian band from Bergen have put the fun back into pop music, without compromising on musicianship or live performance. BUY THE ALBUM AND GO SEE THEM ALIVE... NOW!

5.0 von 5 Sternen Women can be funny too!, 28. März 2012
Yes, women can be funny too! Before this film, it seemed as if the cream of female comedy acting talent was consigned to amusing cameos while the male counterparts stole the show (see collective back catalogues of Messrs Stiller, Pegg and Apatow, the works of Messrs Sandler, James and Green are excluded from this analysis on accounts of good taste). Now with Bridesmaids we have five outstanding female performances, the hilarious and perfectly judged script co-written by Kirsten Wiig (who also stars) the ideal platform to display a wealth of comedic ability. Please let there be a sequel and soon.

A curious work. Drive starts out as a sparse-dialogue art house flick, with Gosling and Mulligan competing as to who can say the least in any given scene, mawkish expressions dominating. As the story progresses and the sound of Gosling's supercharged saloon gets louder, director Nicolas Winding Refn moves into more conventional violent action territory. What stops Drive descending into another forgettable thriller, is the well paced story, which has a sufficient number of twists and turns to keep the viewer on the edge of his seat throughout. Awful soundtrack though - some songs should've never left the 80's.
