BEG ASP DTBSE, (Programmer to Programmer) von John Kauffman
This book is WELL worth the money. Why? Because it teaches you ASP/ADO with examples, the results and then step by step explanation of how it works. I wish other books could be as good as this.

This is a book for people that understand the basics of programming (a little Basic/VB/VBscript is helpful) but not the finer details.

Definately worth the money, get it!

JavaScript. The Definitive Guide von David Flanagan

I've got a real problem with this traditional-computer science approach of learning all about variables and structure but nothing that you can actually use.

I had to actually RETURN this book, because it was such a waste. Little examples or real code, make it only good in "theory" and not in practice. You can do MUCH better.

Look, books don't seem to be doing a very good job. If you want to learn Javascript, goto Yahoo.com and search for Javascript tutorial. I've just tried a few, but in an hour or two I've learned 20x as much as trying to read the book.
