5.0 von 5 Sternen A well written story, 5. Juni 2012
John Sandford's Stolen Prey is plain amazing. It is a well written and captivating story, with an insightful touch that comes from an array of fascinating characters led by Lucas Davenport. These characters stand out in their unique ways. With an interwoven plot that is captivating and a setting that is attractive as well, Stolen Prey is in my opinion the best in the Prey series. The fast pacing came in handy to keep the edge throughout the story that made it gripping read it is. It reminds me of Triple Agent Double Cross. The rich prose and effective dialogue made Stolen Prey the splendid piece of writing that it is, and attest to Sandford's skill as a brilliant writer.

5.0 von 5 Sternen I enjoyed it, 22. März 2012
This is a well written and intuitively observed story here. It has the right elements of chracterization, plot, dialogue, narrative and it is fast paced. It is certain to strike to chord with its target readership and even beyond; so promoting it is a good idea. I started reading these genres after reading The Verdict of Hades. But now, irrespective of the genre I am ardent about, I will always go for well-crafted stories that are enjoyable.

I liked all the stories in this book. First, a fascinating start for stories that turned out not to be only hilarious, but in a curious way, insightful and educative. It comes on the hills of The Usurper and Other Stories, which is another story I enjoyed with similar settings. The prose is smooth flowing, and the plots come with suspense and surprises
