As said many times below, this books candor and most importantly its tone will simply blow you away. Franz is everything you would expect of a person who left the JW org and attained a deeper faith in God and the Bible rather than losing his faith.

Never, not once, does anger or any of the adverse emotions you might expect from someone in his situation come into this book. Instead you see the thing you would expect from a true Christian, love, mercy, consideration and more love.

Yet, he leaves no stone unturned taking you from the beginnings of the JW's history "knitpicking" every detail as one critic said.
