Well, I live in Kokomo, Indiana, USA. I don't really have a job yet, as I am still in school, but I am an author, and I plan to publish many of the 150 or so works I have in progress. I write for fun, listen to music, read, watch movies, play with my dozen or so cats, and work on my '64 Impala in my spare time. I'd have to say that my favorite book is one of the books in the Dark Tower series b… Mehr dazu

Shadows of the Empire: Star Wars (Star Wars (Rando&hellip von Steve Perry
Shadows of the Empire really should be a movie. The characters are portrayed perfectly and are highly detailed. I already knew most of the plotline because I have the video game for N64, but it was still terrific. Prince Xizor is an excellent enemy for both the Rebels and the Empire, which leads to the climax in which both sides are tring to destroy Xizor's Skyhook over Coruscant. Another goodguy, Dash Rendar is also introduced, along with his amazing ship, Outrider. About that worthy, I must come to his rescue: he does not die at the end, as you are led to believe. I started reading this book first--hey, I didn't know it was a series--so I do not know anything about the first two, but oh well. The plot was perplexing enough. The characters were pretty cool, actually, like the leader of the Rebel Scavenger squadron that is staking out KDY, and the giant space spider thing that Boba Fett crashes Slave I into. Some of the action is detailed, too, like when Slave I is being blasted to bits. You can accurately visualize the ship… Mehr dazu
Cycle of the Werewolf (Signet) von Stephen King

This novelette is how werewolf stories should be written! Werewolves are my favorite supernatural beasts, and this one is no different. The provided illustrations are terrific, and are drawn the way werewolves should really look. The directors and costume designers for werewolf movies should really study these pictures. King does an excellent job of creating suspense, such as one scene when a hog farmer is about to go outside to stop whatever is killing his pigs, and a bloodcurdling howl stops him in his tracks. Just imagine having such a creature right outside your house, and you'll understand the horror part of it. One good part about the shortened length of this book is that… Mehr dazu
