This is probably the most profound analysis of the events leading to WW1. It is not attempting to apportion blame but analyzes considering the events, the world view, the limitations and experiences of the acting politicians, royalty and military men.

Good and thorough analysis of a historical entity that is now mostly vilified. An that coming from an Anglo-saxon is a nice surprise.
