I am fond of a great number of things including music of many types, books that are either fiction, decorating, business,or cooking related as well as movies I live in upstate New York. My most passionate interests are photography, travel and cooking. My favorite spots are places that are private and small where I can make friends with the owners and patrons.

I attended a planning session at a Fortune 500 company that used the premise of this book to take us into reality. The concept is solid marketing and echoes the corporate or, perhaps, venture business axiom that "we really loved this project when it was a dream!" And, who doesn't? This book gives us all practical knowledge about how to take our businesses from that small, little known phase of early adopters and get on the mainstream engine by crossing the chasm between those of us who are destined to remain a small business to one in which we really grow and proper and make our dream a reality in the mainstream

This book is not only a pleasure to look at but the variety of recipes is one that will keep you busy for a very long time. The biographical information on the chef, the facts about what sells best in his famous NYC shop as well as the organization of items is simply fantastic. Even though the first one I baked was the "banana cake" it was actually banana bread with a great variation. It was lighter and moister that the one that I use from one of my other books.The photos are professional and the recipes are easy to use. I will make alot of items from this book.

I have a large collection of cookbooks. I ordered this book to complete a set of references that I have on baking and it makes a great addition. While not well illustrated or visually pleasing, it does contain all the basics of French baking and would make a good reference work for the home baker. All the base recipes are there plus some good variations on new items. There are lots of recipes to try and you won't be dissappointed by the variety.
