Futureritual: Magick for the 21st Century von Philip H. Farber
5.0 von 5 Sternen A MUST HAVE...NO EXCUSES!, 28. Juli 2000
It's contemporary, powerful, and one of the FIRST books I recommend to those wanting the best magick stuff available. If you enjoy the works of Alister Crowley, Max Freedom Long, Stuart Wilde, and Peter J. Carroll, then you will want to reach the next level by buying Philip H. Farber's FUTURERITUAL. I'm only allowed 1,000 words for this review, so there is not enough space to share with you ALL the benefits I've attained from this book. But suffice it to say that one direct benefit is that my intuition abilities have improved to such a degree, that sometimes people are left speechless that I know so much about them. Preacher VOL 03: Proud Americans von Garth Ennis

This volume has the biggest body count I've ever seen one man amass. The Saint of Killers gives a whole new meaning to "high body count." But beyond the incredible amount of blood in the main story, there's also the origin of how Cassidy became a vampire and how he came to be in America. (Not to mention we find out his hilarious first name!) And we finally learn the whole story behind "Genesis" So if all of this isn't a reason to buy this volume, I truly don't know what is!

5.0 von 5 Sternen A Worthy Volume, 22. Juni 2000
I haven't seen this much blood since the "Preacher:Proud Americans" collection (That's volume # 3 in case you're wise enough to buy all 8 volumes) But more than just a high body count, we also get to find out more about Herr Starr, and how he became involved in The Grail, and we witness Cassidy's betrayal when he is asked by Tulip what Jesse's last words to him were. On a lighter note, I cracked up over the entire Chunt Brothers/Herr Starr sections, especially where Starr gave Cyrus a hand! (too funny!) And no Preacher volume is complete without Arseface, who is visited by his fairy arsemother. I'm cracking up just thinking about that story.
