Peter Ingwersen and Kalervo Järvelin, two major contributors to the Information Search and Retrieval research community, wrote an outstanding book which is what I think one of the best information sources regarding the theoretical and conceptional point of view on this topic. They introduce about the different viewpoints which splits up in the system- and the user-centric viewpoint. All the main conceptional models and frameworks regarding the system- but also user-oriented and cognitive view including those from Kuhlthau, Wilson, Byström, and Borlund are being described. Florian Müller führt in diesem locker leicht geschriebenen Buch sehr verständlich in das Thema Adobe Flex mit Java ein. Vom Messaging über Mehrsprachigkeit bis hin zu Web-Services, Validierung und Tests werden die Themen ausführlich und verständlich erklärt. Empfehlenswert für alle, die sich für das Thema RIA mit professionellen Backend-Systeme interessieren.
