The God of Small Things von Arundhati Roy
The God of Small Things von Arundhati Roy

Wow, this was an incredibly imaginative and gratifying book. I simply loved how Roy writes. On the surface is appears so simple and naive, but as you proceed the reader realizes how complex her thoughts are concerning nationality, caste, religion and perspectives in general. This was a very moving read.
Things Fall Apart: A Novel von Chinua Achebe
Things Fall Apart: A Novel von Chinua Achebe

Very nice! This was entertaining and informative about tribal life in Africa. Achebe is successful in demonstrating how we in the west have succeeded in disrupting and eventually destroying almost every culture we become involved with.
When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult&hellip von Pema Chodron
2.0 von 5 Sternen When things fall apart, 31. August 2013
This was a tedious read. Pema Chodron writes mostly in anecdotes to teach, but it has very little organization and I'm not certain what she would like to say at times. For someone who would like to know more about Buddhism, this is certainly not a book to start with. And if you're having difficult times, this book will make your life more confusing.
