Through this journey the reader is transported into WW1 Australia with a deftness that fires the imagination, and from there into the killing fields of the Western Front in Europe. Absence makes the heart grow fonder is an old adage, but does it work for this couple and will the hero survive the onslaught of war.
You will discover for yourself as you read this fine stylistic piece of writing from a very talented author.
