"Pemberley Celebrations - The First Year" is a Pride & Prejudice sequel consisting of 13 short stories about Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy's first year of marriage. Beginning with their first Christmas as a married couple shortly after their wedding, Kara Louise revisits Pemberley on the major holidays, ending with the Darcy's first anniversary.
I bought this book, because I enjoy reading sequels to Jane Austen's novels, particularly to Pride & Prejudice and in general I have to say right away that I enjoyed this book as well.

Starting with Sharon Lathan: I am more and more convinced this woman thinks she is the reborn Jane Austen. Lathan tells the story of nine christmas celebrations at Pemberley starting with the christmas of the year before Elizabeth and Darcy get married. Over the years the author describes how the Darcy family celebrates christmas with their constantly growing number of children. She ends with the relation of christmas when Darcy and Elizabeth - now married for over 20 years and parents of six… Mehr dazu
