2.0 von 5 Sternen Poorly Organized, 13. April 2000
As informative as the authors try to be, trying to find any desired topic, in this book, is virtually impossible. The index is imcomplete. The examples are okay, but the book could be organized better. Too bad I couldn't recommend a better book. To be efficient, take the time to browse through the book and use small bookmarks to highlight the important sections. Personally, I've learned more and have been more productive with a good book on ASP.

1.0 von 5 Sternen Code Samples?, 14. März 2000
I picked up this book as it came highly recommended for developing CDO enabled Web Apps. Well, the code examples in the book are extremely poor and pretty much impossible to relate to your real life needs. Any book that discusses a Microsoft object-based technology without actually showing the included objects, their properties, methods, etc is a waste. You're better off using Microsofts online docs within their Knowledgebase and MSDN. I can't believe Microsoft let this book to get to press as their other MS Press books go into much more detail about their relative topics. I had to go online to find a list of the objects within the CDO library and their properties, object hierarchy etc. This book made my job harder as I wasted time looking for info within it that Microsoft already had on their website.
