1.0 von 5 Sternen Look at a copy before you buy it., 2. Juli 2000
Rezension bezieht sich auf: The Little Schemer (Taschenbuch)
This book is not what you may expect. It is written as a Q&A dialog. Some people love the style of presentation but I found it so irritating that I couldn't finish the book. Also, the focus is on the concept of recursion, not the Scheme language.

3.0 von 5 Sternen Interesting but not good for a first book., 1. Juli 2000
This text is nicely produced and has some interesting examples of Haskell programming. However, the book is mainly examples of Haskell and functional programming rather than explanations of Haskell and FP. The exposition is spotty and assumes a lot. It would best be considered a second book for those learning Haskell.

Netscape Communicator 4.5 for Dummies Quick Reference (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))
Netscape Communicator 4.5 for Dummies Quick Reference (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))
von Viraf D. Mohta
  Taschenbuch

1.0 von 5 Sternen Not a reference, or a good intro either., 4. Februar 2000
A quick reference should be a concise compilation of procedures and data on an application. I have other books from the Dummies Quick Reference series that fit that bill very well, but this one does not. Rather, it is an extremely simple introduction to Netscape. If you have played with Communicator for more than a few hours, you won't get anything new out of this book.
