Truly an amazing book--reading this takes you on a fantastic trip to the Provence you once knew, or the Provence you want to know (and trust me, after reading this, you will want to know Provence). It is a well written chronicle of French life that should be indispensible for any traveler.
This book was a fairly good review to me for taking the AP Stat. Exam this year--the practice tests are fairly well designed, and the review sections were a help in understanding some unclear points. A must have for AP Stat. students.
I consider myself a devout Agatha Christie fan, and this novel was no exception to her tradition of excellence in writing. It is definately one of her best works and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a great book to keep by the bedside or on the porch to read.
I found this book a great source of facts and abstracts about French and Provençal life. Not a travel guide, but still a great choice for not only those traveling to Provence, but those that have loved Provence in the past and are looking to revisit it through their armchairs.
