1.0 von 5 Sternen Why oh why did I buy this miserable device?, 7. März 2014
If you want to purchase this as a gift for a person without credit car better think again because this device is totally useless without an amazon account and an amazon account will get fragmented over different countries and even by trying to pre-load it with gift cards you'll run into misery like I did.

Totally not recommended.

1.0 von 5 Sternen Langsam nach die Update, 19. November 2013

3.0 von 5 Sternen First Impressions, 12. September 2012
Verifizierter Kauf(Was ist das?)
Just opened my new E-PL3. First impressions:
- case is solid made
- charger is huge, why did Olympus have to make it so big, it's a rounded chunk of plastic, I'd much rather have the camera charging over USB, instead of schlepping another charger and cable
- there's a CD with some software, never gonna install the bloatware, no interest
- to add insult to injury USB cable is USB standard on one end, whilte the other end is ? WTF format? - Why, oh why did they have to do this? It means I'll have to schlep the cable everywhere I go, because although I got a bunch of USB normal / mini / micro cables I don't have this peculiarity?

Now I'm thinking if I should send the thing back. Why did you impose this weird cable to me, evil Olympus?!

3.0 von 5 Sternen Works, but produces squaky high pitched sounds, 8. September 2012
Verifizierter Kauf(Was ist das?)
Installation was simple, all 3 adapters work. Sometimes I had to plug one out and in to restart it but it works with no problems.
However, what is a problem is that these devices produce a high pitched sound. It's hard to describe and it's on the hearing range limit, like my wife doesn't hear it but I do, but it's anonying and I'll have to replace the devices because of this.

Juli 2011
Verifizierter Kauf(Was ist das?)
Bought s2. Manufacturing is very good, it feels solid, although opening the back cover made me think if I'll break it, it's not doable with fingernails (no wonder they made a warning note to not break your fingernails), but it goes with a spoon and a lot of hassle (hello, Samsung engineers, can't you make a proper cover, duh?).

THE GOOD
- AMOLED Screen is totally amazing. The best screen I've ever seen. If I could get a computer screen like that I'd be willing to pay premium, it's fantastic and that's the best feature.
- Speed. Dual Core CPU works like a dream. There's no waiting where I click a menu item or app and it takes a while for a reaction. Everything happens instantaneously. This is fantastic response to user input.
- Internet connection speed is pretty good for a phone, I was impressed.

THE MEDIOCRE
- Android works online, so if you have no flat rate internet on your contract better chunk the phone into toilet and flush or apply a hammer until it stops. If you do have flat rate It's a bit annoying that it won't ask you "can I establish connection" but does it straight away. Most European flat contracts are national, so if you get close to the border, like you live in Munich and go the the mountains then the phone might "roam" on an Austrian provider and the data traffic will cost A LOT. It's possible to turn data off by pressing the power button on the side together with the only button on the front, which will pop up a menu allowing you to deactivate Data Network Mode - click it and it's deactivated. Still I see no report on traffic volume. It could be done better, like with a sliding switch: slide it and data networks are disable, no exceptions. But it's not hype, hype is all online, all tabs, all with fingers, duh.
- Phone comes loaded with Software and you can install more, but getting used to this if you had a Nokia before takes a while. Also customizing the screens / tiles / what-do-they-call-em is not easy. I could make a new tile, but I couldn't remove and add and resize programs on the same tile easily.

THE BAD
- Kies and Samsung.com are a disaster. Go there in search of Kies to migrate your contacts to your shiny new Galaxy and you'll get a load of everything but Kies. Better approach is to download for "Samsung Kies download" which takes you there immediately. Also can't change the language on samsung.com easily, so if you connected from Sweden you get Swedish, no matter if you want it or not. Bad Samsung! Bad marketing! Bad samsung.com!
- Touch screen and fingers - I'm used to keyboard / mouse on PC which I consider the perfect interface method. Regretfully some Steve dude made a lot of hype with "who needs a stylys when we got fingers". Well, Steve-o, fingers are fat and greasy compared to a nice small stylys (not capacitive huge stylys which is also fat, but not greasy as a finger). Touching smooth objects with fingers leaves fingerprints and that sucks. Also try to move a cursor to the exact letter inside a word with a finger and not want to launch the whole thing against a wall. It's severely testing me. So score another point for the hypemaster and one less for common sense. There's no precision on the amazing AMOLED screen, which is really, really sad. Not due to the screen but due to fingers being too big.

1.0 von 5 Sternen Really bad, 26. Mai 2011
Verifizierter Kauf(Was ist das?)
Having had read positive reviews I've ordered two of these braces. What a disappointment!
Here are my issues with this product:
1. Size charts - it says "measure around the knee". I measured 40cm. Ordered large (40-45cm) and I can barely get them on. They get stuck on the calf. I have a normal or slightly muscular legs, but they must had designed these for anorectic supermodels with spaghetti like legs.
2. Design - metal part tends to rub against my calf. No matter how high I pull it, with every step it keeps on rubbing against my right calf. Tried another brace, it's the same, so it's no manufacturing oversight, but a design mistake. If I were to walk in these I'd probably get a sore red spot after a kilometer and then it'd bleed. Really bad design.
2.a. Design - the velcro fasteners that should like tighten it are only getting in way and not doing anything good. OK, it's too small, but h
3. Cheap manufacturing - you read about kevlar and whatnot, but in the end with every step the brace is producing sounds like you're crumpling a plastic bag.
4. Totally un-breathable. Might not be a problem for skiing, but if you intend to hike in these it's like wrapping your knee in several layers of plastic.

Now, let's see how to send these back for a refund. They're not worth anything.

April 2011
= Haltbarkeit:1.0 von 5 Sternen  = Spaßfaktor:1.0 von 5 Sternen
Verifizierter Kauf(Was ist das?)
Bought my first Trumpeter model. Although I have to say they tried (e.g. there are nice bits like both rubber and hard plastic tracks, main body box is pre-made, main turret part is pre-made), it was a major disappointment. What I dislike here:
1. Although I've washed the plastic with warm water and soap painting is very hard, like it was covered in some oil (usual practice for plastic casting), but Trumpeter oil is so hard to wash off. Because of this you need to go for extra coatings that takes time and is no fun at all.
2. Trumpeter plastic is pretty brittle and there's a lot of really small parts that'll break easily. If I compare it to a Tamiya model I've assembled recently Trumpeter is way behind.
3. Track guards assembly is very bad. After you spent a lot of time to paint the body and wheels (especially the space behind the wheels that you can't reach later), you'll discover that the track guards (big part of the model) doesn't fit right. Then it's cutting parts covered in glue and a major mess. No fun! Grief!

I can say that this was my first and certainly my last Trumpeter model.

1.0 von 5 Sternen Weird USB B type plug, 25. Februar 2011
I just bought this disk and I'm angry because now I see that WD built a not very common B type plug into it. If you usually carry your USB disk around and count on using a cable from any computer it's a big question if you'll find a B type.

Choosing a B type plug is like a random act of violence against own customers. Way to go WD, this is probably the last WD disk that I have bought.
