5.0 von 5 Sternen Abso-****-lutely great, 10. Oktober 2011
Awesome book for beginners and advanced c-programmers. Bought it because i wanted to be able to write programs in C for performance purposes. Though I didn't become a PRO (which no book can turn you in without practice), i became quite a decent C-programmer.

Rezension bezieht sich auf: C++ Primer (Taschenbuch)
I've read the book and consider it to be a just awesome pice of work. After programming in Java i wanted to move to another language and C++ primer helped me alot to understand Pointers, bitwise operators and so on. I think it is very good for learning C++ as first programming language as well as learning it as second or third language. (Also the layout is very readable in contrast to other books i don't wanna list here)

5.0 von 5 Sternen All you need is..."R in a nutshell", 24. August 2011
Rezension bezieht sich auf: R in a Nutshell (Taschenbuch)
Covers rly (almost) everything for R, though there is no XML reference. Still a very good book for looking up some R features and so. Not THE very best book if you want to learn R as a newbie. I worked through the book as I needed R for my studies and learned a lot about plotting, programming and all the stuff R is able to handle...

3.0 von 5 Sternen A quite interesting Read, 3. August 2011
A very good read for the reader that is new to the field of computer science, but if you already have some knowledge about complexity and so on, you'll find a lovelessly gathered collection of examples....I enjoyed it though
