FLOWERS OF THE FIELD DIE..........BUT ALWAYS COME BACK!, 4. April 2000
Anne Frank was like a flower, growing, budding... but she dies. Remembrance of her comes back through her life written story, in her diary, and her "flower" comes back. This diary was all that she had left, all that she could feel, and experience. She made the best of a bad situation. I don't know if I could have done the same as she did... keep my cool and go forward, not knowing what the future would bring. Anyone who would find this book boring, I would bet, is very self-centered and cannot fathom what it would be like to be in someone else's position. By the way, I saw the movie years ago with all its sights and sounds. Very graphic. This book is a must for any human who cares about others.
