Authors, please join me in posting your Murder Mystery related novels here. Readers, I hope you'll enjoy discovering these inexpensive and entertaining novels.

Some people like lawyers...some people really hate them. My latest Thriller, The Shrunken Head Murders, is a gruesome story about the latter. Amy Strong, an attorney with a prestigious law firm, is found dead. Not only was she strangled, her mouth was sewn shut like the mouth of a shrunken head. Detective Tom Brikler is required to stop the Shrunken Head Killer before another attorney is brutally murdered and mutilated.

The Shrunken Head Murders - EUR 2.99

Defending Evil, addresses the moral dilemma faced by Criminal Defense Attorneys - should they try to win an acquittals for clients they know are guilty. Travis Knight is driven to win acquittals for his murdering clients, which angers a very righteous vigilante. The vigilante decides to execute those recently acquitted murders and then turns to the source. Travis is given an ultimatum; stop defending the guilty or die.

Defending Evil - EUR 1,05

I hope you will find my stories entertaining.

Charles Shea - Author of The Shrunken Head Murders and Defending Evil

P.S. - Thanks to all the fantastic Kindle readers that have purchased my ebooks this year.

[ASIN:1461195977 Hiding the Elephant (Simon Grant Mysteries)]]
Once shes peeled off the shoes caked onto her feet, a few pebbles clink away along the floor tiles. A sharp piece of slate has lodged itself in between her toes, and as she lifts her foot onto the curved edge, a small trickle of blood oozes out, dripping down the side of the white enamelled bathtub. Shes spent hours walking about, hardly aware of the pain. Welcoming the pain. Its been a part of the package. The atonement for the sins already committed, the oblation for the wrongs still to be done. For if shes right and has gifts to offer, whose altar will she be bringing them to, whose golden basket will she be carrying them in? Betrayal and deceit. Trickery and wile. Theyre all around her again, in her, pushing their way past each other. Pippas face first. Or is it Phils? Both cruel in their implicit faith. People have no right to be that innocent. Then Simons. She cant bear to think of Simon. Not now. When its all over. When they get him out of that house, one way or another. When she knows. When shes certain.

Lock Up Your Daughters (Simon Grant Mysteries)

Mikko had obviously left the marshland behind and stepped onto firm ground. His foot stopped tapping the carpet. You know whats really funny? he laughed again. My Old Man whod been so worried Id be a burden to him ended up sharing with Petra and me for a while in that tiny flat above the Boathouse workshop. This bungalow left to him by his parents was still rented out and he had nowhere else to go.
Grant nodded. He felt he was skilfully led off the track. What happened when you got to Coniston?
Once up there, Mikko answered without a protest, we were planning to work our way to a little two up two down cottage with a bit of land, just enough to keep chickens and ducks and grow our own fruit and veg. We were going to sell our dried herbs, our jams and chutneys, our pies and our sausages, home made and exorbitantly priced, to the tourists and restaurants during the season. And in winter, by log fire, we were going to weave self-designed garments, made from the local wool. Self-sufficiency was the name of the game. The Good Life, but away from the suburbia. Mikko cast a quick look at Grant, and smiled ruefully. Only, it never happened. Instead, we got caught up with the likes of the Westwoods, the Harpers and the Arbuthnots. We mind their children and grandchildren, clean their cars, sail their boats, lick their boots, cook their meals, kiss their arses and suck their cocks for if we didnt theyd stop throwing money at us and where would we be then?

Both are also available in a single volume on Kindle

Jerry meint:
The Ambivalent Corpse is a new murder mystery set in Montevideo, Uruguay and the surrounding areas in South America. Parts of a dismembered corpse are found on a rocky stretch of beach in Montevideo, Uruguay, apportioned equally between the Memorial to a German cruiser sunk in World War II and the Memorial to Jews killed in the Holocaust. Because of the murder victim's strategic location shared between two antithetical monuments, the Uruguayan press names her “The Ambivalent Corpse”. Private detective Roger Bowman and his girlfriend, scientist Suzanne Foster, find themselves traveling through Uruguay, Southwest Brazil, and parts of Paraguay and Argentina to help solve the case. This fast paced mystery has plenty of action, atmosphere, and sense of place. While the novel is basically a hard-bitten mystery story, it bends the genre slightly so that it should also appeal to readers interested in travel, romance, and South American food and wine. Please enjoy this exotic murder mystery.

Murder and mystery.

Carla wanted to be rich and wear nice clothes. Not much wrong with that, provided she could get over a difficult past. Her way out was playing poker for high stakes, using Fat Yang as her mentor. Trouble is, it wasn't a game of cards that Fat Yang had in mind for her. It was something far more dangerous.
