Hello, I can recommend "Fever" from Christine Feehan and "Touch a dark wolf" and "The Lure of a Wolf" from Jennifer St. Giles. Lori Handeland is another autor about werewolfs. I'd also liked Maggie Shayne's "Demon's Kiss". I hope you'd like them as much as I do.

My favorites are Sherrilyn Kenyon`s Dark-Hunter/Were-Hunter series, Marjorie M. Liu`s _Tiger Eye_ (first in the Dirk&Steele series). Then there are Clamp & Adams` Sazi series, which is also very good.
Buffi Becraft-Woodall`s _Weremones_ is more erotic romance (and very funny!), as is Madelaine Montague`s _Nocturnal_ and Jet Mykles Leashed-Series (first story in the anthology _Howl_, the sequel is _Leashed: More than a bargain_).
I can also highly recommend Angela Knight`s Mageverse series (Master of the Night etc), which also has shapeshifters.

And Susan Krinard has a werewolf series: _Prince of Wolves_, _Prince of Shadows_ etc.
Oh, and then there`s Dara Joy`s _Rejar_ and _Mine to Take_.
Maybe you`d also like to try the anthologies _Sexy Beast_ from Kensington.

Hope that helps!

Gerd Dürner meint:
I would second Handeland if you don't mind erotic literature.

Patricia Briggs books "Moon Called", "Blood Bound" and "Iron Kissed" are great romantic books, with less erotic than Handeland.

"Underworld: Blood Enemy" by Greg Cox focuses on the romance between Lucian and Sonja, it can actually be read without knowing the movie/novelization "Underworld" to which it serves as a prequel. Only the tie-in part to "Underworld" and "Underworld: Evolution" would then be open ended.

Yasmine Galehorn's books "Witchling", "Changeling" and "Darkling" get a lot of praise but I had no chance to read them myself yet.

Rebecca York's "Moon" series might be to your liking, too.
They are a nice mix of Crime/Romance.

Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series is great, not overly exploitive when it comes to sex or violence, but they don't focus as much on the romance part as the others do.

I think the series of Nalini Singh - starting with Slave to Sensation (followed by Visions of Heat, Caressed by Ice - my personal favourite - and Mine to possess) is simply great!

I have just discovered the "Immortals after Dark"-series by Kresley Cole. I loved the first book, wasn't too much into the second, but enjoyed number three:
A Hunger like no other
No Rest for the Wicked
Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night
I am now waiting for the next release soon to come and from what I read on the excerpt on the homepage, I think I'm going to enjoy that.
Hope that helps?!

Kekenny meint:
Patricia Brigg's series (Moon called, Blood bound, Iron kissed) is certainly worth a look.

And I liked Hunter's Moon by C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp.

Not really erotic but a good werewolf novel is Tanya Huff's Blood trail.

Despite the stupid titles, Carrie Vaughn's Kitty Norville serie (starting with Kitty and the midnight hour) is a great read.

Yes, Nalini Singh! I'm just rereading the Psy/Changling series in preparation for the next installment coming out in September.

Hi,

if you don't mind a few vampires around, you could also read the Anita-Blake-series by Laurell K. Hamilton or the Sookie-Sackhouse-series by Charlaine Harris. Both a good read!

Kind regards,
tedesca

I would always recommend the Twilight Saga from Stephenie Meyer...the main topic are Vampires but at the end of the second, the whole 3rd and the 4th book also involves werwolfes/shapeshifters....

And then there is this book called "Blood and Chocolate" I'm not sure who is the author but it is just about a werwolf pack called Loup Garou...really interisting

Jane Austin meint:
Hello,
I can recommend Ilona Andrews' "Magic Burns" and "Magic Bites".
Also Patricia Briggs' above mentioned books, plus "Cry Wolf".
You could also try Charlaine Harris, with her "Sookie Stackhouse series".
Kim Harrisons' books are great to read as well, but Shapeshifters are not the main topic in her books.
Have fun reading
