A recent reviewer likened Meg in The Assassin's Wife to a female James Bond. She went on to say that if you like your action hard and fast you would enjoy The Assassin's Wife.

Available for 99 Euro on Kindle.

Carla wanted to be rich and wear nice clothes. Nothing wrong with that, provided she could get over a difficult past. Her way out was playing poker for high stakes, using Fat Yang as her mentor. Touble is, it wasn't a game of cards Fat Yang had in mind for her. It was something far more dangerous.
Keep you guessing right up to the end.

For pure entertainment and a fast read, the new mystery novel The Ambivalent Corpse (Crime and Pun Is Meant) is highly recommended. The book has received multiple very positive reviews. The story: Parts of a dismembered corpse are found on a rocky stretch of beach in Montevideo, Uruguay, apportioned equally between the Memorial to a German cruiser sunk in World War II and the Memorial to Jews killed in the Holocaust. Because of the murder victim's strategic location shared between two antithetical monuments, the Uruguayan press names her “The Ambivalent Corpse”. Private detective Roger Bowman and his girlfriend, scientist Suzanne Foster, find themselves traveling through Uruguay, Southwest Brazil, and parts of Paraguay and Argentina to help solve the case. This fast paced mystery has plenty of action, atmosphere, and sense of place. While the novel is basically a hard-bitten mystery story, it bends the genre slightly so that it should also appeal to readers interested in travel, romance, and South American food and wine.

Try the historical action adventure thriller novels Viking Sword Saxon Shield' and `Vikings Saxon Holocaust.' These are based on true historical figures and actual historical battles set on the east coast of England at the end of the 10th century in King Aethelred’s reign. The main story is about a young Romani warrior who arrives in England as a Vikings rowing slave. He escapes and when King Aethelred the second’s youngest daughter is kidnapped by the Vikings he saves her and is rewarded by being made the Princesses bodyguard… Theses novels could also be described as suspense, mystery novels as there are multiple storyline threads. From a review of The Ambivalent Corpse at www.amazon.com. Four Stars.

"Sunfish" says: “A grisly corpse, lots of South American food and wine, and lots of descriptive tourism. Once all the intros are done the action moves quickly and you just can't stop reading. Quite a fast moving mystery with an interesting plot. An easy fast read.”
Try it; I think you'll like it.
