In the Eighteenth Century two sisters were convicted of witchcraft in Hettford village and their spirits continue to be a menace to the local community. Nobody may believe them, nobody may reward them and they might not ever accomplish very much but nonetheless they remain devoted to their cause.

Episode Five - Bring Our Your Dead

Things take a sinister turn in Hettford as a robbery forces the death curse that has been cast on Milton to come into fruition earlier than expected. Meanwhile Gary finally breaks and says something he would never normally say. Does this spell the end for the witchhunters?

If this episode does not scare the pants off you, I will come around and remove them manually.

Why do you want books for nothing? Do you think that authors upload books here for fun, money does not grow on trees and that goes for authors too. Do you know what DRM means? Have you ever downloaded a book and lent it to someone else? Have you no friends?
Stop looking for hand-outs, times aren't all that bad. The authors here are offering their books for free in the hope you will buy more. I don't write for money, neither do I write for free, I'm not allowed to give my books away, if you want free (low quality) books then go to smashwords. No, my books aren't there.

If authors choose to offer their books for free, maybe to get people to buy more books from them, or to get reviews for their books, or just to be seen - why shouldn't they do it?

It's their choice, not yours (fortunately) and they can advertise it here if they want to do so.

And not all of the books that are offered free are low quality, neither here nor on Smashwords. To say that is demeaning, really.

Oh, and since you've asked: The D in DRM stands for distrust. Anyone putting DRM on their books doesn't trust their customers to be honest and obviously thinks that DRM will help prevent piracy, which it doesn't. It only cripples the rights of the honest customer. Publishers (and authors) make the same mistakes the music industry used to make years ago - and will hopefully come to the same conclusion, and hopefully faster, too.

My Friend Miranda is free, but I think only for the rest of today.
It's a story about young girls moving on to High School and is probably more of a woman's read. Is that a wise thing to say, I wonder. Anyway, I think women prefer it to men.

Do you ever feel trapped by your life? Things are not going well for Tegan, her boyfriend has abandoned her to a life of poverty in England and on her way to her first job interview in months she becomes trapped in a lift with a business man and a Liverpool scally.

Arguing about whether or not they are trapped in a lift or an elevator is the least of her problems as the day drags on in the confined space and one of the occupants appears to die. It's when he wakes up that Tegan gets some perspective on just how bad things can get.
