Hi, two reads you might find interesting.

The Dancing Boy
On a sweltering day in Afghanistan, Tom Gillet, a young British soldier is dragged back from an IED by Shafiq, a small Afghan boy. Luckily he lost a foot and not his life.
Shafiq wasn't so fortunate. His family was murdered by the Taliban as a warning to those who helped the coalition forces, and he was sold into a child trafficking ring as a dancing boy.
Gillet, on the threshold of PTSD and riddled with guilt, takes it upon himself to return to Afghanistan to search for the boy in the hope of finding him a better life.
But what he encounters is betrayal, lies, and horrors of a world he never knew existed.

All In
Carla wanted to be rich and wear nice clothes. Not much wrong with that, provided she could move on from a troubled past.
Her way out was playing high stakes poker, using Fat Yang as her mentor. Trouble is, it wasn't a game of cards Fat Yang had in mind for her. It was something far more dangerous.
Fortunately for her, she discovers his intentions, and begins to hatch a plan of her own.

Walking in Santa Fe (US New Mexico) Wandern in Santa Fe

Take a walk along West San Francisco Street in Santa Fe. Autumn is a great time to visit the City Different. Stroll with the Reluctant Medium on the first day of fall. Learn about Burro Alley and The Original Trading Post dating back to 1603. The aspens are turning golden and there's a bit of mystery in the air-dare I say paranormal?

Astral Travel: We're Not In Kansas Anymore

Have you experienced astral travel? Many people have and others think they have. "Reluctant Medium" will take to the astral plane in the upcoming "Lemurian Medium." When I needed my character to time travel I remembered a movie I saw in rerun: "The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan" and knew I had to write about astral travel.

Hello again

Deep in the darkness of a vast ancient forest, a sleeping menace has reawakened. For decades it grows, biding its time, reaching out to claw at the ordinary lives of those living beyond the shadow of the trees.
Their children start to disappear.
Unsuspecting of the danger, a group of families, friends for many years, journey to a newly re-opened hotel that stands alone in a clearing more than a mile within the forest boundary. Cut off by an unexpected and powerful early snowstorm soon after their arrival, they begin to realise that the forest surrounding them conceals a dark, abiding malevolence.
And it is hunting them.
Battling the deep snow, poorly equipped and with no communication or hope of help from the world beyond the trees, the friends are thrown into a desperate and terrifying fight for survival.

The Dancing Boy

PTSD can do bad things to a mind. It sent ex-soldier Tom Gillet back to Afghanistan to search for the boy who saved his life. Trouble is, Al Qaeda knew he was coming and for Gillet things were never going to be the same again.
An outstanding read.

The Oktober Projekt

For Nick Torr, a senior officer in the Secret Intelligence Service's (SIS) Covert Directorate CO8, Operation Salvage was intended to be nothing more than a mundane collection from an SIS agent in Moscow. Betrayed, captured, beaten and tortured, Torr's nightmare has only just begun as Moscow attempts to protect its Oktober Projekt, raising the stakes of espionage to terrifying new heights.

5 Star reviews on Amazon UK

"One of the best thrillers i have read in a while. action and intrigue from page one and well worth a read".

If you enjoy reading John Le Carre' novels you will find this book a cracking good read. One of the best thrillers I have read in a while. Topical subject too. Recommended.

this novel is a tremendous effort, considering the challenges that this must bring, particularly in editing. Anyway, this is a excellent spy thriller, with a believably tough, flawed central character...Nick TorrIf you enjoy well paced, complex spy thrillers, you'll enjoy it. The Oktober Projekt is worthy of a wider audience .

The Fanatic

Britain it seems, has more enemies than friends...

When a radical group of extremists launch a terror campaign on the streets of Britain, a frantic hunt begins to find those responsible. But what seems a simple case of terrorism quickly reveals other, more sinister forces at work. As Nick Torr follows a dangerous trail that stretches from the hostile streets of Cairo to Paris, London, Kenya, Somalia and finally Washington, it becomes clear that this is no straightforward dirty war.

"Fantastically well written, with vivid descriptions, interesting characters and a plot that will keep you hooked and guessing right until the end, this is a must read". (Amazon UK 5 star review)

Hunted and the Damned
A British spy's disappearance in Berlin at the height of the Cold War has never been fully explained. When a retired British Secret Intelligence Service officer is brutally murdered in Berlin, the two events are dismissed as unconnected, simply a coincidence.

Following the dead officers trail from London to Berlin, Nick Torr the SIS Director of Covert Operations uncovers an obsessive quest for a missing convoy of Nazi gold seeped in myth and legend. In the shadowland of a city still divided by memories of the Wall, he discovers that the gold is only one piece in a complex puzzle of treachery, deceit and betrayal. In Berlin, he uncovers a number of traitors linking past and present together, secrets that Soviet Military Intelligence, the GRU, are brutally preserving through violence and murder.

Amazon UK 5 Star Review:

Having read all three of R.J.Dillon's books in chronological order I must write my first ever book review(s).
They were all well written, in a style reminicient of John Le Carre and Len Dieghton.
I believe Mr Dillon writes from a position of knowledge about our governements more secretive security departments.
The booke were thoroughly entertaining, and I felt robbed every time I have had to put down my Kindle for more mundane chore
This is a sign of a very good book to me.
I hope the Mr Dillon can soon follow these superb thrillers with much more, and very soon.
I cannot recomend them enough. (21/6/12)
