Four good 'uns.

A gripping thriller.
This up-dated novel tells of innocent young Afghan boys sold by their parents to wealthy Taliban warlords to be trained as dancing boys. A form of sexual slavery that exists today.

The Dancing Boy
The army had no use for Tom Gillet after he lost a foot in Afghanistan. If it hadn't been for a young Afghan kid called Shafiq, he might have lost his life. With his life turned upside down, and suffering from PTSD, Gillet's family life crumbles. From an ex- army buddy he discovers that Shafiq has been sold as a dancing boy to a powerful Taliban warlord. Seeking one final fling Gillet grabs the opportunity to start his own personal war, and returns to Afghanistan hoping to find the boy. With his PTSD worsening, and betrayed by those closest to him, he is determined to finish what he has started. Then he receives the startling news that his son has been kidnapped by Al Qaeda in the UK. If he wants to see his son alive, he must follow Al Qaeda's instructions to the letter.

Some say greed is good.

All In
Carla is a beautiful woman. The kind every man wants, and she is happy to oblige. Raised in humble surrounds, and driven by the lure of big money, she learns to play poker. Mentored by Fat Yang, a wealthy restaurateur she uses her charms and skill at the poker table. Trouble is, she doesn't like to lose, and those who pose a threat are likely to meet an untimely death. But Fat Yang has something far more dangerous than a game of cards in mind for her. Discovering his intentions, and prepared to hold onto her way of life, she works out a devious plan to turn the tables.

After receiving invaluable comments from readers, I decided to have this book re-edited. Thankfully I have found an editor and proofreader who does what it says on the tin. I have also added a new cover - thank you, Bryden.
If you like a down-to-earth British thriller with all the rough edges. Like your stories close to the bone? Like to call a spade a spade? Then you might like,

Hidden In Plain View
Although not born and bred In London, Gabriel Horn considers himself a London boy. But part ownership of a gay bar, the Back to Front Club in Soho, doesn't somehow generate the same excitement as his previous employment, an active operative for MI5. When Sir Adrian Gold, Shadow Minister for Defence, offers him the opportunity to repay the government for the shoddy way they have booted him out of Thames House, he accepts. His mission: to assassinate the leading Ministers of the British Government. Trouble is, when the body count begins to rise, those closest to him begin to die. And why would a leading Minister of the Opposition, along with the CIA, want members of the present government assassinated? Then Horn finds himself unwittingly trapped in a jigsaw of murder and treachery to avoid an international scandal that would bring the British Government to its knees.

History is more than about dates, it is about people.

Coming Home
An unforgettable account of friendship and loss as Thomas Elkin, aged 15, enters the trenches and brutality of WW1 as a sniper. A story that vividly captures the desperation of a guilty conscience as men lay dead and dying. Thomas carries with him a secret so hideous that only death will release him from his torment.

At present ranked in the top one hundred kindle and book charts, this book is priced at an all time low for a short period only.

The sequel is out: Once Humans (Daimones Trilogy) at the introductory price of $1.99 (1.53 Eur )

"Once Humans" starts some ten years after the events narrated in "Daimones", Vol.1 of the homonymous "Daimones Trilogy".
The new communities, led by the Selected with Moîrai support, thrive and peace and security reign on Eridu, as the planet Earth is known by the Moîrai and in the galaxy. "Once Humans" is a 'loss of innocence' for Dan, and for the Selected. The events and the emotional trauma prepares the race of man to reclaim its place in the galaxy.

Mankind is undergoing rebirth, the new arrivals closely watched by the Selected: those transgenic beings created by the Moîrai. But the peace and security of the cradle are suddenly shattered by acts of sabotage set to disrupt the fragile balance of the fledgling Communities.

From the coldest climes to the deepest ocean floors, a cosmic conspiracy full of betrayal and fear is being hatched with the hope of pushing the world perilously close to the brink of self-destruction. And it is up to Dan Amenta to once again journey through dark and deadly alleys--even into the depths of the planet--to unlock the shadowy logic of alien minds.

...and don't miss the promotional price on how it all started in #1, Amazon Best Seller Daimones (Daimones Trilogy)

Happy reading.

The next thing she knows, she slips into the water and finds herself drowning in an abyss. In the year 1815, David Traymore, illegitimate son of the Marquess of Solebury, saves Leah from drowning on his father's property. In his view, she's dressed scantily, speaks with a strange accent and talks a lot of nonsense. Told in a more modern way these stories can stand alone or be read together. From the end of the world to tales of heroes and monsters and just which is which these are stories you can read while waiting for your turn in line or at the doctors, at the coffee shop or on the bus. Hidden In Plain View
A Well Plotted and Intriguing British Political Thriller, 12 Mar 2013

This review is from: Hidden In Plain View (Kindle Edition)
This intriguing British political thriller hits the ground running. With never a dull moment and many vividly descriptive passages, it's well paced with gradually mounting tension. The characters are well developed with some pricelessly witty dialogue and jet-black bawdy humour.

Gabriel Horn is portrayed as a hard and ruthless anti-hero who shows no remorse at killing people in order to survive in the world in which he lives. But occasionally, we catch glimpses of the soft and tender underbelly that he's afraid to show, in case his many enemies learn of his vulnerabilities. As a hired assassin, he agrees to kill the Prime-Minister and his deputy, but as the body count starts mounting, the hunter becomes the hunted. He finds himself and those few souls he actually cares about in terrible danger. To say more would spoil the totally unexpected ending. This really is a five star bargain, enjoy!

An invitation to translate ancient inscriptions near Pompeii is a dream for classics professor Winnie Price. Although the dig is for a TV program instead of a scholarly project, it's a way to carry on the legacy of her archaeologist father, who died on their last trip to Italy.

Then her department chairman horns his way in on the gig. The show host is more sensationalist than scientist. Her cocky assistant Chaz keeps flirting with her -- and getting harder to resist. A looter’s hole appears at the dig site. Worst of all, it turns out someone forged the referral letter that got her on the show, and the prime suspect is her -- or Chaz.

Add to the mix a reenactment of pagan rites spiced up with a psychoactive homebrew, and Winnie has a lot more to interpret than Latin.

The Five-Day Dig

Thank you for considering my books!

Gabriel Horn loved to kill, to watch the light slip from his victim's eyes. It felt like a lovers kiss, sweet and satisfying in its embrace.
He thought Sir Adrian Gold was joking when he offered him £40,000 to kill the Prime Minister and his deputy.
"Cost you one million pounds," he laughed.
Sir Adrian didn't hesitate. "Agreed."
Horn stared at him. He was deadly serious.

The Up-Country Man Memoir 180k words. A personal account of the first one hundred days trapped inside secessionist Biafra (Nigerian Civil War). Second Edition.

The Last Bature (Batuuree) Fiction 102k words. The last white police officer in a failing ex-British colony faces many threats when he tries to avert a national catastrophe.

Tribal Gathering Short stories 104k words. Greed, jealousy and ignorance are just some of the subjects in eight stand-alone stories with a twist.

The Mine My latest book. Fiction. 110k words. A British "diplomat" and a senior African police officer investigate a mass kidnapping, which leads to much more in a failing ex-British colony. A thriller/adventure story set in a background of secession, civil war and breathtaking corruption.

When 15 year old Cassandra Miller is taken away from her abusive father, she is placed in the care of a family who has many secrets to hide, among them the fact that they are Merpeople with a long history of luring humans into the water to kill them.

Everything appears to be perfect but she sees telltale signs that things may be too good to be true.

Her new family, the Morgans, are obsessed with water but forbid her to go near it. Water is everywhere she looks, surrounding her. Lake Superior is her new backyard and aquariums make up the inside walls of her new house. Oddly enough they seem to be having fish everyday for lunch.

The Sons of Thor, a group of five young men, have sworn to protect humankind with their lightning bolts. They have an understanding with the Morgans, that they will leave them alone as long as they leave humans alone.

Now that the Morgans have taken a human into their home to raise as their daughter, the agreement is broken.

Eric, one of the Sons of Thor, has fallen in love with Cassandra. He wants to take her away from them but they have the law on their side and he can't admit who they are without admitting who he is.

The two groups will have to set their differences aside and work together to protect Cassandra from her father, who is at large and wants his daughter back.

Cassandra just wants a chance to be a normal child. She doesn't want to jeopardize the love of her family for a mere guy.

Daughter of the Oceans is told in first person from both Cassandra's and Eric's prospective.

Kate Rigby’s Fall Of The Flamingo Circus (Allison & Busby) is perhaps the first novel to get to the point of punk rock. It’s not the usual shock-horror mishmash of sex, speed and silly hair-cuts, but an account of how punk provided an avenue of self-expression for a bright, abused teenage girl from the north…” (John Williams The Face No 27, December 1990).
