Are so this is the thread you're all talking about.

As it is almost the Wimbledon season, Im offering Break Point at 0.99 until the end of July.

It's the start of the 1999 Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Break Point is not only about an obsession with Wimbledon: the game of tennis itself becomes a metaphor for the other psychological matches taking place at the house of peevish old Gwen McMahon. Carers come and go, but who will survive to the final?

What's the word for tumbleweed again?

We don't have tumbleweed in Wales.

It's too exotic.

Lot of weeds live in Tumble though.

So you chose to live in Wales? Are you nuts? At least if you'd been born there you would've had an excuse..

There's nothing more endearing than warm rain.
So when people sing 'Is This The Way To Amarillo?' I can just answer with 'follow the tumbleweed'..? No wait, you took it away from there. So if they want directions back..? But only to Texas. Oh never mind.

Sadly I have a number of pictures of the Amarillo city limits sign. Because I'm a spud. Actually on that holiday we stopped at a motel. The place next door was all little teepees. Dead cool but we missed it in the dark. Got home, saw cars and realisd we'd missed the opportunity to stay in the REAL cosy cone motel.

I would be devastated. What if the actual cast from cars was staying there? You have to go back. And please take me.

The Dancing Boy
When Tom Gillet returned to Afghanistan to search for the boy who saved his life, he was already aware that the boy had been sold into child sexual slavery. What happened next is stunning.
This is not a story about war, it is a story because of war.

The Dancing Boy
If Shafiq hadn't shouted a warning Sgt Tom Gillet would have died. Instead, when the IED exploded he lost his right foot. Days later Shafiq's father was beheaded by the Taliban, his mother and sisters raped and shot as punishment for aiding the coalition forces. Shipped back to the UK and on the threshold of PTSD, Gillet discovers Shafiq has been sold into an Afghan cultural tradition known as `Bacha Bazi' child sex slavery, to an Afghan tribal warlord. Desperate for one last shot at action Gillet returns to Afghanistan as a civilian intent on searching for Shafiq and bringing him back to the UK. What happens next is stunning, and reveals a darker side of the Afghanistan conflict.
This book is not about war, it is because of war.
Not for the squeamish.

The Lily Branch (DI Elizabeth Jewell)

“Elizabeth stared at Jerome. Even in death, she appeared to be posing for the camera.”

In the midst of tackling her personal problems, DI Elizabeth Jewell investigates her biggest case, the murder of top fashion model Lily Jerome.
After a second body turns up on an isolated farm, Jewell searches for a link between the crimes, aided by newspaper editor Nick Calbrain.
For Jewell, pursuing the killer will change her life forever. With her career in jeopardy for breaking too many rules, she has nothing to lose, except maybe her life.

Don't worry about it. It's not like you need to know how to use words in the right context etc in your line of work.
