I really like the book Misty because I really like horses and colts. I think the book was good also because Marguerite Henry was a good author. The climax is: Will Paul and Maureen ever get to get the Phantom to her colt at Penning Day? My first opinion is I think Misty is the best for kids to read. My second opinion is: People that love horses should read the book Misty. My last opinion is: Misty was the best book I have ever read. Jamie

A few people in my class are reading the book. I think it is great because it shows the courage of kids who are training a three year old wild horse and her filly. During the story I thought how mean it would be to take the colts from their mothers. Then I learned that sooner or later colts will get kicked by their mothers to keep them from drinking milk. This book can teach you a lot of things you didn't know before. I love this book

Maureen and Paul are at the grounds and a storm comes. Grandpa takes Maureen home and tells Paul to stay and if the storm gets too bad then to go to his truck. then the rain started pouring down. So Paul jumped into the big coral to find Misty and the Phantom and take them to the truck. He couldn't find them because his grandpa already put them in the truck. Paul fell asleep and Misty fell asliip on his lap. The next morning Pauls grandpa went out and got him. Paul and Maureen get Misty and the Phantom and learns to ride Phantom bareback. Sally
