ich kann eigentlich nicht viel sagen, da es ein geschenk war,
aber ich hab mich getraut kurz reinzusehen, hatte zeit mir die
zusammenfassung zum matth.evangelium durchzulesen und das gleich
zu benutzen für einen kleinen input den gegeben hab. super ding,
sehr zu empfehlen!

I really like the idea of Zondervan making this compact size bible. If you travel, the smaller size is very useful. For those who prefer a smaller size with all the goodies intact to take to a bible study, this is a good one. It has all of the information, maps, concordance, etc. that the standard size has. Some have complained about the small print size. It's a small compact bible! LOL Buy a magnifying glass or even better, buy reading glasses at any book store so you won't have to hold a magnifying glass. All in all, a great idea and good study bible. Another reviewer on this site named Watson got an incomplete bible without Genesis. For everyone's benefit, Amazon and Zondervan both guarantee their products which could've been exchanged with no hassel. Publishing errors with books do happen.
I'm very happy with this bible. Hopefully, Zondervan will publish the same compact bible in the NASB version.

Excellent for BSF and Sunday School!

One evening I happened to be at the Family Christian Store in Sugar Land and they had this bible discounted. Along with my coupon I was able to get this bible for $17! What a deal! I have the large print version of this study bible and have found it to be an excellent study bible with fantastic supplementary material. So when I saw this "compact" version I became very interested. I am attending a Bible Study Fellowship in Houston and in our small group discussion classes we often have to juggle our binders with the BSF material along with our bibles and oftentimes it was awkward having a larger bible in my lap. However this bible is the perfect size and very easy to read even though the print is rather small. But with "reading glasses" as a previous reviewer suggested, this problem is easily remedied. The leather cover is aethetically appealing and the bible feels so comfortable for carrying to church, Sunday School or a Bible Study Fellowship. I still love all my "larger" bibles for use in my study but if I need to travel or go to a class this "compact" version fills the bill! The amazon price seems very reasonable but if you happen across a Christian bookstore with a good sale you can most likely get this bible for under $20!

This was a very nice looking Bible. I was very pleased with it's appearance. I suppose it was my own fault but the word "Compact" did not really register. I should have realized that the print was going to be very small. It would be nice if the description on the size of the type was a little clearer. Thanks.
