As a writer, I found this book a fascinating project to work on. I interviewed eleven professional communicators and dozens of their clients. I heard some amazing stories that are related in the book. What I learned only strengthened my conviction that animal communication is a largely untapped resource that can greatly benefit people who share their lives with animals.
Animal communicators have told me that all humans have the ability to communicate telepathically with animals. It's a matter of opening your mind and heart and--most difficult of all--trusting that what you're receiving is from the animal. I've included techniques from professional communicators for communicating with animals. This book can help you understand how animal communication can help you, and even get you started in doing it yourself.

For a long time, I approached the idea of animal communication with the skepticism Janine Adams describes in this book. But, unlike other authors of books on this subject, Adams doesn't gussy up her prose with mystical, psuedo-poetic New Age-y language. In a clear, down-to-earth style, she describes how animal communication works, how it can improve your relationship with your pet, and how anyone can learn to do it. Her pragmatic approach has helped me become more open to the idea of communicating directly with my own beloved pet.
Janine Adams really opened my eyes and mind with this wonderful, informative, heartwarming book. All the while I was reading, I had questions popping into my mind that I wanted to ask my dog. Ms. Adams inspired me to call one of the communicators mentioned in her book and I am looking forward to our session. I never dreamed that I would ever accept the concept of being able to communicate with my pet, and now, because of Ms. Adams' book, I've taken the steps to do just that. It is not only well written, it is bound to make you smile and also bring tears to your eyes. Our pets have so much to say, if we would only listen. Thanks to Ms. Adams, more of our animal companions will have a chance to be heard.
The book, You Can Talk to Your Animals, is a must for anyone who has pets. It opens up a whole new world of communication and insight. There is a way that we can know what our pets are feeling and thinking and Janine Adams tells you how. It's not a silly book, not a new agey mystical book, but a practical book, that will make the biggest skeptic a believer.
