Kurzbeschreibung

Improve your Writing Speed and write your next book easily

  • Do you fear that your next novel can take you months or years to write?
  • Have you ever thought of giving up because you couldn’t write quickly enough?
  • Do you lose motivation when writing your novels, slow down, and end up abandoning them?
If you have any of those problems, it probably means that you aren’t optimising your writing time. Writing doesn’t mean struggling with every paragraph, and this book will teach you to forget about everything that stops you and start writing faster than you imagined.

Write thousands of words per day

I used to have problems finishing my own novels, until one day I started to experiment with ways to boost my writing speed. My meagre 1,000 words turned into 4,000, and those 4,000 turned into 8,000. 8,000 words of new fiction is now an average day for me, and my productivity helps me enjoy writing a lot more than before.

The secret is to focus on what you know about your book, and go from there. You can use that to trigger your ideas and speed up. But of course, if it were so easy, I wouldn’t need to write a book about this.

Let your brain do the work while you focus on the typing

In this book, I tell you every trick I've learned to start finishing your novels at lightning speed.

In this book, you will learn:
  • The most common problems that reduce your writing speed and how to solve them

  • Why you must want to write faster to improve your speed, and how to convince yourself to keep writing

  • My Super-Speed Writing and Plotting System that lets me write at incredible speeds

  • Methods to enjoy your writing that will make you write more

  • How to avoid writer's block

  • A sneaky tactic to stop you from dropping out if you miss a couple of writing days

  • How to prevent key plot problems that affect novels-in-progress

  • Tricks to stop you from giving up with your first few writing projects

Stop struggling with every word and start writing novels quickly.

It’s easy to jump from writing a novel in a year to writing a novel in a month or two.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Writing Fast and Well Great Advice to Improve Your Daily Word Count 16. August 2014
Von Charles Wm Anderson @wordpress - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
In about 70 pages, this writer has provided a good number of tips to help aspiring writers achieve greater word counts. A few of his tips are commonly known, but most of these ideas are unique and make this a worthwhile read.

So? As Charles Tesla points out, when we get in the groove, we get psyched into a mindset wherein not only are we producing more words, we are likely to produce greater story within those words. This is absolutely true for nonfiction and fiction. Our subconscious takes over as our critical, logical mind exits stage right.

I also tend to agree with his point to not show our work too soon to our friends and family. Not for the reasons he states though. As several other writers have written, writers are writing to express a creative need. By showing our work too soon, we often find that we have satisfied that urge and, hence, will often not still have that craving to write more on that story.

I believe Tesla's primary thrust is absolutely correct. Coincidentally, I received communication from another writer, my favorite writing coach who is a NY Times Bestselling author, (Michael Stackpole) who is currently advising writers to write short booklets and novellas. His theory is, similar to Tesla's, that writers who can produce scores of short booklets, in serial format, are going to experience the greater success in the future.

So, my advice is for aspiring writers to read Writing Fast and Well: How to Write a Novel Faster and Better by Boosting Your Daily Word Count.

I was provided a free copy of this book. This review is my honest opinion.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Good Advice For Newbies And Even Experienced Writers! 7. August 2014
Von Dr. Joseph S. Maresca - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Tesla's book is well organized and easy to understand and
replicate for new writers or even some experienced ones.
The author indicates that writing requires commitment,
motivation and sustained focus.

Analysis paralysis can be deadly for any writer.
Never over-analyze. The best thing to do is just to
begin writing as soon as you decide to do so.

New writers sometimes make mistakes in trying to
write about difficult topics which are unfamiliar.
Always write about things you know about from
person experience, knowledge or practice.

Another important thing is to test out different
genres.Perhaps, mystery is not your cup of tea
and romance stories could be more attractive.
Some writers thrive on self-help books while others
thrive on writing online repair manuals for cars.

The author advises new writers to try writing at
different times of the day to find out when you
are the most productive. Another important task
is to find your community of readers and writers of
the same genre. Once the book is complete, your
first task will be to seek out and market to the target
market.

Overall, Tesla's book is very helpful in focusing a
new writer's attention and efforts on areas providing
the greatest yield. This reviewer requested a review

5.0 von 5 Sternen This book helped me improve my 3,000 words/hour writing speed! 17. August 2014
Von Kindle Customer - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

This is a simply amazing book.

And, coming from me, that means something.

See, I'm already an extremely fast writer. I can generally manage 6,000 words per 2 hour writing session.

After I started seeing numbers like that, I kind of stopped reading books about how to write faster. I figure I already knew everything there is to know.

Boy was I wrong! ;-)

This book was really quite amazing, and I learned a great deal.

Whether you're a brand new wannabe writer, I a published bestselling author like me -- you'll want to get your hands on a copy of this book. It could very well save you a LOT of time. (And make you a lot of money in the long run. After all, faster writing means more books published which means more money in your pocket.)

In summary: I highly recommend this book to all authors, and want to thank the author personally for crafting such a wonderful tool.

Best of luck with your writing adventures!
