Über den Autor und weitere Mitwirkende

Paul Gayler is one of the finest of the new generation of chefs. He is executive chef at the prestigious Lanesborough hotel on London's Hyde Park, where he leads a team of 35 chefs. He is author of Burgers, Steak, and Mediterranean Cook, all published by Jacqui Small.

Loved the recipes. My personal opinion is, 200 recipes from around the world would never cover it. Bread is a universal.

I must be doing something wrong, I have tried two different recipes from this book and they have included way too much flour or not enough liquids.

I give it 3 stars since it is well designed and it could be my fault for the inability to make any of this, but its not like a half of a cup of flour off, but at least a full cup, its weird.

Also, you will need to get a lot of strange flours to make most of these breads.

I love this book. I bought a second for my sister. It has bread recipes-some more complex and some simple. It is a short book so it does not have a lot of extra recipes that I probably wont ever look at or use. I love this book!

This is a good survey of many different kinds of bread recipes from around the world. It gave me a lot of ideas that I either used, or followed into other cookbooks or bread recipes.
