I don't mean this review to be a troll, but after 3 months of the most nonsensical terms, I've had enough.
I've been getting the "Word of the Day" calandar for about 3 years and the best part of it is the word origin section in the back. So I thought that's what this "Word Origin Calandar" would be. Where does "nescience" come from? What words are associated with the term? How long have english speakers used the word "zorch"? Stuff like that.
Instead, I get "Toyotagate".... Really? Who uses this word?
Would I need to have a nail in my head to not guess "nuts and bolts" comes from (and I quote) "a mechanic's shop where nuts and bolts help hold parts of an engine to their mount". Gee, really?
I guess the bottomline is that if you do crossword puzzles or read books or a newspapers on a regular basis, I wouldn't recommend. Stick with the "Word of the Day Calandar". I'm thowing this product away.
