When you know the heart behind a book it makes the book so much more intense. Jimmy Page and Dan have lived out the 40 days in this book over many years.
They have taken the experiences of real life and shortened them to a few pages to give the reader insights into the wisdom God has for us when we listen to His instruction. The book is great to read as a personal devotional but even better to go through with someone else to help spur the relationship to a deeper level.
If you are seeking to find God in a personal and practical way to apply to your everyday life, this book is one you will want to pick up today!

This is a book that helps you for personal growth. Not only helps you to understand where should be your relationship with Christ, but how it can help you to be a mentor to others in that area. When you start reading this book you feel you should continue doing so without stopping. I highly recommend it even if you do not have kids.

This has been my favorite devotional yet. It has 40 days to go through, but for some reason I can't get through the 3 pages of one day as it is so in depth. You can not go wrong with this book. Great gift for anyone who needs to have their walk with Christ challenged. The authors don't let you off easy with thinking and just going a different direction.
