inspirational 3. Oktober 2011
Von claire smith - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
The ideas in this book are not only original but they can be used in all aspects of your life, whether as a sportsman or in your business or wherever. Obviously the readers who are also rowers can relate even more to the tales which are told to illustrate these fresh approaches you can take to your projects. Overall much more memorable than many of its type.

Ben's story is inspiring, and the book is practical and applicable with immediate effect. Ben was clear on his outcome, and practiced the conversations, commitments and embodiment to generate the results he wanted. Thank you Ben and Harriet for sharing this with us.

Inspiring Read with Real Practical Application 30. Oktober 2012
Von Osman Gulum - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The story of Ben Hunt-Davis is awe inspiring. This tale of a man who managed to overcome the set backs of his early Olympic rowing career, most notably those in Atlanta, to achieve his life long goal of winning Olympic Gold in 2000, provides an excellent platform to a gripping story. However, `Will it make the boat go faster?' also has the added dimension of providing practical advice, that Ben developed throughout his journey to the success in Sydney, which can be applied in a business setting. Written by his partner writing this book, Harriet Beveridge, each chapter provides an easy to understand and follow section on how to apply the elements of Ben's journey in a practical scenario.

I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in not only sporting achievement, but also in developing their leadership skills, looking for motivation and inspiration to achieve their life/work goals.

The book was written so anyone who can read will be able to comprehend the lessons behind each chapter. I have read this book at a point in my life that I needed a level of direction, processes, decision making mechanism to take myself, family, team, work unit to another level or just plainly understand where I am going.

Thank you for brilliantly giving me and or reassuring that my next will not be something I cannot handle.

I am recommending this book to anyone I know, I have my husband reading alongside me so he too can benefit and we can have discussion on"how to make our living better".

This book require more stars.....thanks for the experience.
