I chanced upon this book in a "remainders" shop, and bought it mainly out of curiosity. I'm very glad I did.
The author is demonstrably a resourceful collector who has put together an awesome range of Beach Boys (and some related) EP and Single covers. The quality of the artwork is superb, and I like the way he has organized the collection by country. The variations and similarities across the globe are truly interesting, and reveal some very quirky selections (that has to be a sketch of Rick Nelson on a Japanese release of Surfer Girl).
There's also limited commentary, especially when a record/cover is unusual and/or rare.
And a section at end covers related artists like the Honeys and Dean Torrance.
My overall observation is that artwork on Beach Boys singles and EPs was of a higher standard than their album covers.
This is obviously a book for Beach Boys collectors, however you don't have to be a fanatic - even more casual fans will find it a useful addition to the coffee table.
