Weston's Westons: California and the West is a window into the workings of perhaps America's greatest photographer. Later in Edward Weston's life he was a grant recipient. This windfall allowed for travel opportunities that had previously been denied him due
to ever present financial realities. This book provides what were, for me, new images taken, primarily landscapes. I saw some of the these images at an exhibition of his work last year and the book has stunning examples of his mastery with both form and composition, not to mention technique. Beautifully printed, highly recommended!
