Just under 130 pages this is a wonderful book if you are looking for some suggestions on what to do with that favorite lamp or dresser that you hate the looks of, but love to much to throw out. It is also nice because what you learn you can file in the mental file cabinet and in the furture if driving down a highway or by a yard sale or even a twoce yearly community trash and throw day where everyone puts the stuff they no longer want, out on the curb for trash pickup, you may just spot a piece that will remind you of this book and you will grab it, redo it, and have yourself a family keepsake.
Living in Berkeley, the Sierra foothills, even Marthas Vineyard or the SoHo area of NYC, you will adore this book. It reminded me of some treasures I made in the 70's which I still treasure.
This is NOT a book on making junkie stuff out of throw away stuff. The pieces shown are very nice and would fit well in many homes.
