As an individual that works in the water industry, I am always on the lookout for books that address water systems and their infrastructure. The author of Water-Works hit one out of the park with this offering. Numerous B/W photos and drawings chronicle New York City's quest for water dating from the 1600's to today. The text is informative without being overly technical. The engineering that went into NYC's water system is amazing, and this book reviews not only what was built, but what was not. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in construction, engineering the water industry or just New York City in general. WELL DONE
