There are not many films which have such simplicity, and yet serve to be so incredibly horrifying as "Wait Until Dark." In it, Audrey Hepburn gives a marvelous performance as Susy Hendrix, a woman who was recently blinded in an accident. She is just beginning to get used to her new life with her new husband when she is caught in the crossfire of a misunderstanding between some drug smugglers. Somehow, a child's play doll which was used to carry illegal narcotics had been misplaced and found its way into the Hendrix home. As a result, the people involved put on an elaborate "display" for Ms. Hendrix, hoping to get the doll back without incriminating themselves. When Susy begins to suspect that they are lying to her, the situation becomes potentially fatal for everyone involved. If you enjoy classic suspense movies, you absolutely must see this one.
