It includes complete technical data, service and maintenance information and comprehensive detailed instructions for the repair and overhaul of all major and minor mechanical and electrical components, making it an invaluable resource for collectors and restorers of these classic automobiles. There are separate sections that deal with the repair and overhaul procedures for the engine, fuel system, carburetors, ignition system, clutch, transmission, overdrive, drive shaft, rear axle, suspension, steering and brakes, plus a detailed electrical section including wiring diagrams. There is a comprehensive chapter on routine service, maintenance and tune ups that also includes detailed specification charts. This book was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 1958 PV444 that I just got from my father; it's been in his backyard for years and we have had it in the family for at least 30 years. Of course the car is in dire need of some TLC and getting rebuilt. This is the only publication I could find for my Volvo. Hanes and Chilton's manuals didn't have my car, but this book is pretty much the same thing. It really breaks everything down, a must have if your Volvo is original. I gave it a 5 star because it is as described and is exactly what I was looking for.
