This book might be 4-stars, but I erred on the side of favor. The Masquerade clanbook for Nosferatu was among the best things White Wolf has ever published in my opinion, so I didn't want to downgrade this one simply by comparison. It's a great book, but I do have one sharp critique I'll detail shortly.
I love the new notebook-style layout of Requiem's full-color clan books, and the visual art and voice of the writing are perfect for clan Nosferatu. The clan is presented in wonderful variety and detail, and the characters and settings herein are cool enough that you want to include them in your stories, or at least use them as inspiration. The appendix includes several dark Merits (mostly related to ghosts) and Nightmare-based Devotions. There's a great setting section on building Nosferatu Necropoli (underground communities) complete with systems, and a section of Nos-appropriate Flaws analogous to the one found in the old clan book (albeit a little shorter). There are also brief notes on the alienness of Nosferatu blood and the loss of Humanity.
So yeah, good book. That said, there's one page of material in here that I hate, hate, hate - The Cockscomb Society bloodline. Essentially, this is a group of Nosferatu that have managed to mask their monstrousness somewhat with a Devotion called Playing the Part. This adds to their Social pools for the scene, and although the curse still peeks through this visage in some way, I'm mad at White Wolf for even including it (surely at the behest of Invictus players). Why the anger? This bloodline strikes me as flying directly in the face of the mythology and tradition that has always surrounded the clan, and the purist play-style of the outcast banished to the fringes and shadows of even vampiric society. Why would you play Nos only to imitate the Daeva? It's disappointing to see such non-Nosferatu Nosferatu in execution, even if you love the player and appreciate the intent. Stick to the sewers.
