Robbins argues that by using a new technique called neurolinguistic programming (NLP) anyone can become successful at almost anything. NLP teaches us how to communicate success to ourselves. One of the best ways to do this is to model ourselves on people who are successful: Think, act, and speak like a success and you are on the way to being one. Despite much helpful material (even regarding nutrition), this book scarcely acknowledges the limitations that exist in people's lives. Of course, the whole thrust of NLP is to learn to focus on one's power and not on one's limits. But the text is too wordyit reads like a transcript of a series of talksand it also needs more structure and organization. This was the first audio tape of Tony that I bought. Well, the way Tony gives seminar is really admirable- he's really energetic, funny, congruent, and he gets his points across effectively. Most of the section is recorded from his real seminar, and it's great! However this version is a little bit too short, maybe it's Simon & Shcuster's fault cos they always release such short audios. There's another version of Unlimited Power, it has 6 cassettes, it;s a fuller versions with lots of NLP skills. That version is released by Nightangale-Conant if I'm not mistaken. I listen to that 6 tape sets every now and then. The format is very similar to this tape, with Tony in studio and seminars teaching you the skills, but this version is only about 50 mins long.

The audio version of this book is too short to be really helpful. I believe that Robbins really wants to share his secrets for success but I'm not really sure what his secrets are. He mentions NLP but a five minute explanation isn't going to help anyone practice this. Overall, a waste of money.

Overall, it has some wonderful ideas about improving yourself. As a Tony Robbin's fan, this has to be one of the worst projects he has done. The depth he usually gains in most of his projects is non-existent here. I was very disappointed. He has tried to cram so much information into such a small amount of time that I kinda felt that this should have been free to get people to learn more about his system. Paying for this was really a bad judgement on my end. Spend the extra money and get the program and understand what he is trying to teach. His ideas are life changing but you lose that impression with this.

der Artikel wurde als Buch gekauft. Danach, also nach einem Buch, habe ich auch gesucht und auch gekauft. Geliefert wurde eine sog. Audio-CD. Mithin eine glatte Falschlieferung!
