Once again Victoria Twead has enchanted us with a wonderful romp through the life and times of living in the small village of El Hoyo, Spain with her husband Joe.
Just like her first book 'Chickens Mules and Two Old Fools' Victoria Twead shares with us funny experiences, beautiful stories, interesting traditions and the trials and tribulations of living in very different country. This time each chapter is laced with relevant photo's, so that you feel that you are there with them during this journey. Like you are part of their lives.
I carried this book on the train with me everyday reading on my commute to and from work - often laughing out loud during my travels.
It was wonderful to once again touch base with quirky characters from the small village of El Hoyo and also to meet new ones. Thoroughly entertaining.
So glad to read at the end of this book that there is more to come in this "Old Fools" series.

I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of this book and I'm so glad I did. I loved it, from start to finish. One of the best books I've read in ages. All very honest and with so much humour. Vicky is a fantastic storyteller and you really do feel like you are living in a remote village in Spain when reading the book.
Funny, real and wonderfully written. What more could you ask for? Well don to Vicky on a fantastic sequel.
