12 Marketing Lessons for Entrepreneurs is a great guide to achieving success with your own business. Nowadays, many things are done online, and more people are opening their own businesses. The internet has made communication easy, and we have seen a growth in entrepreneurs who are responding to demands of their products. But the most important thing that any small business owner should realize is that the key to success is marketing. With the internet comes a flood of people who are selling the same product as you, and for competitive prices. Successful business owners are the ones that think outside of the box and offer something unique--whether it be cheaper price or a unique service.

This book is perfect for the people who don't know where to start. I love how the guide is broken down into chapters that are titled by misconceptions that many people have about a small business. You just have to open to one chapter, read the title, and you will probably say to yourself, "Yes, that's what I think." But, when you read the chapter, you will realize how your thinking is flawed.

The book teaches us many things, like how to get repeat business from the same customer, and how to realize your worth and contribution even in a competitive market. It's a useful tool. I own my own business, but this book reminded me of many marketing tricks that I had forgotten.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is just starting his/her own business, and to people who just need some refreshing on concepts that they had forgotten. I'm hoping this author will produce another book with 12 more tips.

After I finished my education in the Faculty of Economics, I decided to start my own business, which will include selling technology products. My colleagues were advising me, that if I want to attract a lot of customers, I need a good advertisement, but that costs too much.That's why I tried to find some useful and vocational literature on the Internet. This book intrigued me, because I found logic in the 12 steps, which are supposed to make a successful businessman out of you. I especially liked the strategy number 2 and 10. The customers are everyone in the market!! That's a good reason to sell high quality products with warranty, because that's the only way to make your customers return to your store again. Fantastic book, highly recommend it to all the fresh businessmans :))

I found “12 Marketing lessons for Entrepreneurs” to be a great read that is full of all kinds of useful and practical advice! The author’s no-nonsense approach makes putting the advice into actual action very easy. The resources that the author provides are very eye-opening and really make you think! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is currently starting a business, or I thinking about it! 5 big stars!

This is a very helpful book regarding making a successful business. It has so many wonderful tips and guides you every step. It answered all of my questions and some I had not even thought about. It is written very well and is easy to follow and understand. It is set up in simple chapters; making it easy to go back any review anything you need help with. The charts and graphs are a big help I now have the necessary tools to make my business thrive. It is obvious that J Shankar put a lot of time and effort into compiling all of this information, and I appreciated his expertise. The market is a battlefield and only the strong survive and J shows you how to be a survivor and winner. I definitely recommend this book to everyone
