Kurzbeschreibung
From the author of Highway to Vengeance comes a new supernatural thriller of mythical proportions:
A former black ops agent turned vigilante-for-hire, Scott Logan does the dirty work that most people are unable or unwilling to do. Known by some as Thirteen due to the tattoo on the back of his neck, he is a man with finely-honed skills and a past shrouded in mystery and confusion.
Johnny Torrance is a ten-year-old boy with mental capabilities that have landed him in a secret government compound known as The Farm. Not only can Johnny perform incredible feats using only his mind, for years he's had dreams that span the entirety of human history, dreams about a warrior of many faces, a man whose only consistent feature is the number thirteen tattooed on the back of his neck.
When Logan is asked by an enigmatic old friend to rescue Johnny from The Farm, he accepts without hesitation, completely unaware that his tattoo signifies far more than just the number thirteen.
Once united, Logan and Johnny must evade Logan’s former black ops team and a far more insidious enemy long enough to understand what they truly are; warriors beyond the boundaries of humanity, each with specific roles in the shadow war that dominates our world.
Combining the elements of a supernatural novel with the hardboiled style of a modern crime novel, Thirteen is more than just a thriller. It is an exploration of what it means to be human and the first stage of a journey that will bring our civilization face-to-face with Armageddon.
Thirteen is a 97,000 word novel.
