A hole-in-one for golfers, cartoon enthusiasts, and lovers of The New Yorker alike, this book includes more than a hundred cartoons about the game drawn from the magazine's eighty-seven-year history.
The New Yorker Book of Golf Cartoons brings together work from such cartoonists as Charles Addams, Roz Chast, Whitney Darrow, Jr., Edward Koren, George Price, and William Steig as they observe the passions and absurdities of the world of golf, on and off the course.
Edited by Robert Mankoff, the cartoon editor of The New Yorker, and featuring an introduction by the cartoonist Danny Shanahan, this collection highlights the humor of the game so many think they can't live with, and find they can't live without.
