I found this book to be a cornicopia of health information. The author takes authority from the Bible to describe the way it is most healthful to eat. After all, who knows our bodies better than the very One who designed them? I stumbled upon this book after the realization that I am the one responsible for the health of my family, the people I dearly love, and yet, I didn't know a whole lot about nutrition. After reading this book, I sure know alot now. We all feel great too!

I read this book from the library and then thought I just have to have this as a reference. It is full of recipes with all the whole food products reviewed in the text. The basis is that most humans early on ate whole foods, grain, fruit, veggies and their products...not sugar or not even a lot of meat or diary products. Meat was reserved for celebrations, honey was rare, dairy was for the little ones and the rest of us ate whole foods. Sounds sensible. And when they wanted to travel...it was by walking. Again sensible. good book to refer to from time to time.
