I bought this book a few days ago. I had seen the trailer for the movie and wanted to know the real story behind it and since I had a long flight before me I decided I should buy this book. I usually do not read a lot, and most of the times I lose interest in a book very quick. But this book was different. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that the amazing story was true. But it is also very well written. Once you start reading it is impossible to put the book down! I finished it in a day. I couldn't stop reading I just wanted to know so badly how these amazing two people will end up. When I started reading it I was sitting at the airport and was therefore surrounded by people and I must say it was so very hard to hold back my tears so that I won't make a fool out of myself in front of all these strangers at the airport. I stopped believing in god years ago but when I read this book it restored my faith in god. It also restored my faith in humanity. I am only 20 years old so I can't be saying I have been treated bad by guys or have been divorced or anything like that but nothing seems stable anymore, divorce has become something so normal that my parents still being together is something special and rare. At times like this hearing about a true story, not some hollywood happy end but something real, it's special! I fell in love with the book, and the people in it, Krickitt and Kim have truly touched my heart.

I've just started reading it, but I can say for now it's a very good book. It is worth to read it.

Ich bin auf das Buch aufmerksam geworden, weil der Film vor Kurzem im Kino gezeigt wurde. Da ich den Film nicht gesehen habe, dachte ich mir, ich kaufe mir das Buch dazu.
Das Buch ist ganz ok. Es hat mich aber nicht wirklich "gefesselt". Meiner Meinung nach, wird es erst ab dem Autounfall interessant (also erst ab dem zweiten Drittel). Obwohl es in englischer Sprache ist, war es relativ leicht zu lesen. Es ist auch nicht besonders dick, also ist man schnell fertig.
