In your face, abrasive, theatrical and Nina.
Nina has without doubt haved a very successful career.
It all started back in 77' where she released her first debut album, it was such a lush and successful that it still roams the shelf around europe, her style was rock, not "Rock" but Nina's own pedeciment of how rock should be. The albums cover such hits as the abrasive cover of The Tubes, "White Punks On Dope" and wonders such as Superboy, Auf'm Bahnhof Zoo and Unebshreiblich Weiblich. Her second release was just as successful songs inc. on this compilation, African Reggae, Wir Leben Immer Noch, Auf'm Rummel. And then came the 80's, Nina's high peak, she ruled the 80's with an iron fist, topping the charts in Europe as well as in Usa with songs such as, Universelles Radio, Smack Jack, New York/ N.Y, My Way, Zarah (Ich Weiss, es Wird einmal ein wunder geschehn) and Spirit In The Sky. Her vocal range is simply one of a kind, roaming like tiger to shreiking like a haunter, and singing like an angel.
Nina Hagen is THE first lady of punk. Simply she's the foundation of what it sounds when you mix Opera with modern music. A pure rock Circus. With Nina as the performer.

ich bin froh diese cd zu haben ich bin spät Fan von nini hagen geworden klasse cd

aber es ginge noch besser. Lieder wie Frühling in Paris, UFO, Was es ist fehlen hier. "Das Beste" passi im Falle dieser Ausnahme-Frau keinesfalls auf nur eine CD. Ich frage mich wann sich die 'sehr geehrten Damen und Herren' endlich einmal bequemen, die ganzen Alben auf CDs zu veröffentlichen.
