I have my tablet and pen ready to go! I am starting this tomorrow morning. I sort of had a morning routine, but realized it consisted of checking my phone first thing. Tomorrow I am sitting with my coffee on my loveseat in my sunroom and doing my Hour of Power! Great advice!

The ultimate morning routine, what a book! I was especially impressed with the concepts of the "hour of power", that was actually something new to me, but now I wake up early with a feeling for control instead of stress, I know that if I follow my routines I can expect a great and productive day. I've read many books on time management before, and applying those old skills with the concepts of a specific morning routine has worked really great for me. I feel this is a must read for almost anyone.

for success. Instead, it is filled with useful, practical suggestions for establishing a specific
routine and sticking to it. It is a simple idea but one which has the potential to change lives.

This book is a poorly written, poorly edited mess. Examples:

"Who loves Mondays anyway? Psychology and statistics will completely agree to this."

"Not convinced? Just think of it this way, it is nothing supernatural or anything. It is just that when you start your day with a heavy heart, no matter what happens during that day will have a negative effect on you (Let's face it, how can you be happy about a little detail when you are busy being sad or angry with something else?), whereas when you start your day happy, every little detail that happens from then on will be the start of something positive."

"Another helpful tip for a stress-free morning is to prepare the little and important things during the night."

Really? First, the author uses far too many absolutes, rendering most of his information inaccurate. Second, sentence structure, grammar and punctuation are atrocious. Many sentences are incoherent. The advice is inane. Sure, negativity breeds negativity and positive leads to more positive, but it's impossible to have good and bad things happen on the same day? Since when? What does he mean by prepare things during the night? How? By sleepwalking? Or staying up all night? How does that lead to a better morning?

This book is a waste of time, at least it was a free download so I'm not out any money. By the way, the author's advice boils down to this: take an hour (15 minutes each task) a day to 1) give thanks, 2) set goals, 3) pray and 4) exercise. Don't waste time on Facebook when you have other things to do. The end.
