Some of the hands are amusing, some are instructive. Some of the accompanying stories are entertaining, some are educational.
Overall I think other books are better as instructional books, because they teach the reader specific lessons. These hands are ok, but they are presented double dummy and its not always obvious which hands to cover.
While the problesm are grouped into related chapters, I didn't think the lessons were anything special.
Problems that you step through while seeing all 4 hands are less valuable as lessons. Some are fanciful hands from Goulash.
The book isn't bad, its just that there are many other books I would recommend ahead of it.
I do recommend the authors other book "Partnership Bidding".
